Working party report:

3/8/2015

Today has been a day of 2 halves! On the up side Paul and Steve have removed the final locker and bodywork and the rear mudguards are also off. So nearly everything that needs removing is now off ready to be worked on or replaced.
Lew had his woodworking shop going again and with Paul's help we now have most of the timbers for the deck support cut and morticed, the side panels that go between the 2 decks and up around the pump have been cut to shape and started getting the support timbers attached. The ladder is still up in the air! I started the day by stripping the O/S ram safety device, when I got it apart the 2 plates were stuck together with old dried grease, problem solved? No ladder still would not shift. So I stripped the N/S ram safety device, that was free. Still ladder would not move!I slackened the hoses to the NRVs and bleed them again, just in case an air lock was the problem. Still no movement! I then slackened the feed return pipe to the rams, only a very little oil coming out when operated.I am now convinced that the NRVs are stuck and not letting oil out of the rams!
